Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the U.S. for over ten seasons. She was part and was captain of both the US Olympic Women's Gymnastics Team Fierce Five (2012) and Final Five (2016). In the 2012 Olympics in London she was awarded gold medals for floor and team competitions, as well as a bronze in the balance beam. She became one of the very first American gymnast at the Olympics to win the most medals. In the 2016 Olympics she won an Olympic gold medal in the team event that gave her as well as her teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having being the first Americans to earn back-to-back gold medals for the team. Silver medals were awarded in the floor individual and all-around event. The three years that passed between her two Olympic Games her break was taken. Her gold medal winning American team also won 2 World Championships. When she was just 2 She began learning gymnastics. Her favorite sport is floor exercise. Aly has joined her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in memory of her grandmother. She plans to pursue a career in fashion and would like to expand her signature line of leotards as well as socks in the future. Fierce the new novel she's currently working on will be released later in the year.
